Falcon Hall

The Grounds

The road that leads to the manor is flanked with stones of deep red granite and

paved with golden limestone gravel. The main entrance to the manor house is marked by a flower bed that blooms crimson roses in the spring. The grounds of the manor are well kept. The path to the front travels around the house to the garden gate.

The manor house faces south. The east entrance opens onto a garden of well trimmed hedges, manicured lawns, and neat flower beds. In the center of the garden is an elegant statue of a silver dragon taking flight. At the far east end of the garden the path ends at a lookout over Winter Creek. A path from the center piece leads back to a well maintained gardener's cottage.

At the rear, a path leads from the kitchen entrance to the stables, a low, flat-roofed building that has stalls for as many as ten horses. A small bridge spans Winter Creek, and leads to the lower pasture.
