Background
Pip was born the unwanted son of a drug-addicted whore. At the age of eight, he ran the streets of Col Tilth, mixing into the seamy edges of humanity that rot the edges of the kingdom's capital. Making his way mainly through theft and begging, Pip developed a rare skill - survival. By his twelfth birthday, he led a small group of similarly inclined youngsters in a string of petty crimes. His gang — the "Night Stalkers" inevitably attracted the attention of the already well established Thieves Guild. As long as the group's crimes were petty, and didn't cut into the action too deeply, the Night Stalkers were tolerated — they didn't have the normal protection from the city guard, and provided a distraction from larger operations.
At the age of fifteen, pride came before the fall. Pip targeted easy money, a merchant guild shipment coming in from out of town. Unfortunately, this particular shipment had insurance in the form of protection money paid to the guild of thieves. In the midst of their drunken celebration after the successful heist, several armed men stormed in, dispatching the youngsters in a matter of moments. Pip was knocked unconscious by an errant sword blow, while the remainder of the group was slaughtered outright. The guild master, not an unkind man (in his own way), decided that Pip could learn from his mistake - perhaps even grow.
The morning after found Pip chained to a disreputable group of people (even by his standards), in the hold of a ship.
Pip is a member of the crew of the Black Dragon, a well knwon adventuring group in Rastgoth.
